Vice President of Marketing
Eastern Metal Supply is seeking a Vice President of Marketing to lead strategic marketing efforts that enhance brand visibility and customer engagement. This role encompasses overseeing brand management, product innovation, and market research to align marketing strategies with business objectives and drive revenue growth.

Responsibilities
Develop and lead the overarching marketing strategy, ensuring alignment with EMS goals, sales targets, and market opportunities
Build, mentor, and manage a high-performing marketing team, including specialists in product marketing, digital, communications, and creative branding
Oversee brand positioning, messaging, and consistency across all channels and customer touchpoints in a traditionally conservative, technically driven industry
Develop and manage the marketing budget, ensuring effective use of resources and measurable outcomes
Build and manage integrated marketing campaigns to drive awareness, generate qualified leads, and support the sales pipeline across multiple verticals
Analyze market trends, customer needs, and the competitive landscape to guide product marketing, pricing strategies, and business development efforts
Collaborate with distributors, suppliers, and OEM partners to co-market products and services, create joint campaigns, and support reseller channels
Lead digital transformation initiatives including website optimization, SEO/SEM, marketing automation, email campaigns, and analytics tools
Plan and execute industry trade shows, customer events, and sales training initiatives, ensuring strong ROI and brand visibility
Qualification
Required
10+ years of progressive marketing leadership experience, ideally in industrial distribution, manufacturing, or B2B technical sales environments
Proven track record of strategic marketing leadership and measurable impact on sales growth
Strong understanding of industrial buyers, distribution channels, and technical product marketing
Management/Leadership/Customer Relationship skills
Expertise in CRM, marketing automation platforms (e.g., HubSpot, Marketo), and digital analytics
Effective oral and written communications skills
Time Management – Manages multiple projects and tasks simultaneously while demonstrating the ability to plan, set priorities, organize, and coordinate work with others
Must have excellent organizational skills – demonstrates attention to detail through accuracy and completeness of information and ability to multi-task
Competency in Microsoft applications including Word, Excel, and Outlook
Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Business, Communications or related field
