Responsibilities

Shipping & Receiving Operations: Coordinate with carriers (UPS, FedEx, DHL, USPS); prepare shipping documentation for domestic and international shipments; ensure all shipments comply with quality and regulatory standards; monitor shipment progress, resolve issues, and provide status updates to internal teams; maintain accurate records of all incoming and outgoing shipments
Material Handling: Safely lift packages up to 50 lbs on occasion; operate pallet jacks and a forklift as needed (training and certification will be provided)
Facility Maintenance (preferred experience): Individual will manage facility needs and maintain internal database on maintenance items (e.g. schedule yearly fire extinguisher service, monthly lab safety inspections, proactively schedule and supervise laboratory systems maintenance items, etc.)
Perform minor facility tasks(Preferred—not required) such as HVAC belt/filter replacement; diagnose and repair mechanical issues with pumps or similar equipment; perform basic electrical or plumbing tasks
Laboratory Support: Work across a variety of laboratory environments, supporting different Analysts and routine testing workflows (training provided) as time allows

Required

Mechanical aptitude: Knowledge of hand and power tools
Organization & communication: Clear, timely communication and strong organizational habits
Safety & housekeeping: Maintain a clean, organized workspace and adhere to International Paper safety standards
Planning & priority setting: Manage competing demands and meet deadlines
Digital proficiency: Basic Computer/Microsoft Office 365 ability
Work ethic: Reliable, detail-oriented performance aligned to core hours (M-F, 8 a.m. – 4 p.m.)

Preferred
