Intern- Product Development, In Vivo
AskBio Inc. is a fully integrated gene therapy company dedicated to developing life-saving medicines and changing lives. The Intern- Product Development, In Vivo will learn basic laboratory mouse handling techniques, develop and execute an in vivo study protocol, and gain knowledge in bioluminescent imaging while supporting the In Vivo and Cellular Biodistribution teams.

Responsibilities
Train to perform injection techniques
Learn to perform in vivo and ex vivo bioluminescent imaging
Gain an understanding of what is required to carry out in vivo studies
Maintain a lab notebook
Conduct research and analysis using immunohistochemistry and imaging analysis tools
Participate in team meetings and provide updates on project progress
Communicate effectively with team members to ensure goals are met
Assist in preparation of reports and presentations to share research findings
Qualification
Required
Must be pursuing a BS degree in Biology, Animal Science, or related field
Must be at least a Junior at the time of your application
Previous experience in handling mammalian tissue samples
Preparedness to handle live laboratory animals (rodents)
Available to work on site full-time during the summer months (May-August) at an AskBio office
Preferred
Prior animal handling experience
Experience in tissue processing, immunohistochemistry, microscopy, and imaging analysis
Proactive and solution-driven mindset
Strong sense of accountability and ability to prioritize multiple tasks
Experience with electronic lab note keeping
