Risk Management and Mission Assurance Specialist

Responsibilities
Advance our Business Assurance Office (BAO) program with an emphasis on data analytics, incident management, and crisis management functions
Provide subject matter expertise to our stakeholders on all phases of incident response, including plan development, Testing, Training, and Exercises, and performance metrics
Respond to and manage recovery teams through disasters, crisis, and disruptive incidents affecting Booz Allen, its staff, or its operations
Ensure that robust, action-oriented and exercisable emergency plans exist across our global footprint
Leverage your high-quality interpersonal skills to form strong and trusted partnerships with all stakeholders
Support incident response and coordinate and manage Incident Command Teams through disasters and disruptive incidents affecting Booz Allen, its staff, or its operations
Support the Crisis Management program by assisting in the development and implementation of strategies to effectively manage and mitigate the impact of crises, including support of evacuation plans
Qualification
Required
3+ years of experience managing or supporting an incident management program for a private sector organization
Experience developing, testing, and maintaining emergency response plans
Experience developing, gathering, and reporting on incident response performance metrics
Experience with Microsoft Excel formulas or Salesforce administration
Experience creating cross-functional relationships within the globally dispersed Incident Command Team program
Knowledge of all phases of the Business Continuity lifecycle, including incident and crisis management and facilitating training on incident response
Knowledge of mass emergency communication tools and best practices such as Everbridge, AlertMedia, or Crisis24
Ability to work within an on-call rotation schedule for crisis response and facilitate tabletop and functional exercises
Ability to effectively present in front of employees at all levels of the organization, including senior leadership
Bachelor's degree in Political Science, International Relations, Risk Management, or Emergency Management
Due to the nature of work performed within this facility, U.S. citizenship is required
Preferred
Experience with Microsoft Office applications, including Word, Excel, Access, Visio, and PowerPoint
Knowledge of process improvement principles and methods
Ability to work independently while supporting multiple projects
Ability to work evenings or weekends in response to business interruption events
Possession of excellent presentation, leadership, and interpersonal skills
Possession of excellent verbal and written communication skills
Possession of excellent organizational, analytical, problem-solving, and prioritization skills
