Senior Accountant

Responsibilities

Process vendor invoices, purchase orders, and payments accurately and timely
Manage vendor inquiries and resolve invoice discrepancies
Generate customer invoices and statements; follow up on overdue accounts and perform collections
Reconcile AP and AR sub-ledgers to the general ledger
Assist with month-end close and related journal entries
Serve as backup for payroll processing, including timekeeping, deductions, and compliance
Maintain documentation and support audit requirements
Collaborate with sales, procurement, HR, and finance teams to resolve issues
Support reporting and contribute to process improvement initiatives

Required

Bachelor's degree in Accounting required
Minimum 3–5 years' experience as an Accountant
Experience with collections and customer/vendor communication
Familiarity with payroll processes (backup/assisting capacity acceptable)
Proficient with accounting and payroll software (e.g., QuickBooks, Microsoft Dynamics, ADP, or similar)
Strong organizational skills and attention to detail
Excellent communication skills; able to work independently and as part of a team
High integrity when handling confidential financial and payroll data

Strong business sense and can decipher priorities and make sound judgement calls as appropriate for the role
