Just Play is a passionate and trend driven leader in the children’s consumer goods industry. The Warehouse Shipping Manager role is responsible for overseeing daily shipping activities, ensuring regulatory compliance, and implementing process improvements.

Responsibilities

Oversee daily outbound shipping activities, including scheduling, loading, and dispatching of goods
Ensure all orders are picked, packed, labeled, and shipped according to customer specifications and deadlines
Monitor and maintain accurate shipment documentation (BOLs, packing lists, customs paperwork if applicable)
Ensure compliance with company policies, customer requirements, and regulatory standards
Monitor quality standards for outbound shipments to minimize errors and damages
Oversee proper documentation for international shipments, including customs requirements and Incoterms
Supervise, train, and develop shipping team members
Identify bottlenecks and implement process improvements to increase efficiency and reduce costs
Ensure shipping equipment (pallet jacks, forklifts, conveyors) is maintained and used safely

Required

High school diploma or equivalent
Forklift license/certification required
At least 5 years' previous experience in warehouse operations
Strong organizational skills
Detail-oriented
Works well in a team environment and has leadership qualities
Strong communication skills within Microsoft Teams and Outlook email
Knowledge or experience with WMS systems
Ability to lift 25 lbs
Strong Excel skills

Preferred

EDI experience a plus
