Responsibilities
Partner with teams in operations, engineering, supply/logistics, and compliance to maintain alignment of quality practices
Support cross‑departmental initiatives and help resolve issues using structured problem‑solving techniques such as 8D
Promote continuous improvement principles throughout the organization
Investigate and analyze quality or production challenges to determine underlying causes using data‑based methodologies
Develop and implement both corrective and preventive actions to ensure conformance with performance and regulatory obligations
Oversee prompt closure of nonconformances to meet customer and regulatory expectations
Act as a technical resource for internal groups and external partners
Respond to customer quality questions, provide evidence‑based assessments, and help maintain customer confidence
Assist with customer visits, inspections, and third‑party audit activities as needed
Qualification
Required
Strong understanding of quality systems and methodologies (e.g., FMEA, SPC, QRQC, 8D)
Ability to interpret and apply major aerospace quality requirements such as AS9100, FAA regulations, EASA and UK CAA Part 145
Background in performing audits and conducting root‑cause investigations
Willingness to travel domestically and internationally as required
Preferred
Knowledge of hazardous materials regulations (49 CFR and IATA) is advantageous
