Responsibilities
Drive new revenue by identifying and cultivating relationships with owners, developers, architects, and key decision-makers
Actively generate leads and position GMA for negotiated and competitive pursuits
Expand GMA’s market presence across targeted sectors within the DFW region
Represent GMA at industry events, networking functions, and client meetings
Develop and execute a strategic business development plan aligned with company growth goals
Collaborate with preconstruction, estimating, and operations teams on proposals, interviews, and presentations
Maintain and manage an active sales pipeline, tracking opportunities from lead through award
Support pursuit strategy development for projects typically exceeding $10M in value
Build long-term, trust-based relationships with clients and industry partners
Serve as a brand ambassador for GMA Construction Group in the DFW market
Qualification
Required
Minimum of 5+ years of successful business development experience within commercial construction, construction management, or commercial real estate
Strong understanding of the DFW construction market
Proven ability to build relationships
Excellent communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills
Preferred
Established network within the Dallas–Fort Worth commercial construction industry
Experience selling to owners, developers, and decision-makers
Background working with multifamily, commercial, or public-sector projects
