Senior Human Resources Manager

The Senior Human Resources Manager will provide strategic HR support to the Plant Manager and oversee daily HR operations, talent initiatives, and compliance at the Grenada facility.

Responsibilities

Serve as the primary HR advisor to the Plant Manager and leadership team, providing guidance on workforce planning, employee relations, performance management, and organizational development
Lead and develop the plant HR team to ensure effective HR service delivery to all employees
Ensure HR policies, procedures, and best practices are consistently applied across the facility
Oversee staffing strategies to meet plant production needs, ensuring a steady pipeline of skilled hourly and salaried employees
Build partnerships with local schools, technical colleges, and workforce development programs to create a robust talent pipeline
Develop and implement an apprenticeship program to attract and train future talent for key roles
Ensure accurate and timely entry of employee data in the HRIS system to maintain reliable reporting and analytics
Monitor workforce trends and provide insights to plant leadership to support data-driven decision-making
Manage employee relations, ensuring fair and consistent application of policies while fostering a positive work environment
Ensure compliance with all federal, state, and local labor laws, as well as company policies and safety regulations
Lead investigations and resolution of employee concerns in alignment with company policies
Support leadership in identifying development opportunities for employees at all levels
Implement training initiatives to improve employee skills, engagement, and retention

Required

7+ years of progressive HR experience in a manufacturing or industrial environment
3+ years experience managing HR teams and supporting both salaried and hourly employees
Strong knowledge of employment laws, compliance, and HR best practices
Experience with HRIS systems and ability to interpret and analyze HR data
Proven ability to handle employee relations matters with discretion and professionalism
Excellent interpersonal, communication, and leadership skills
Ability to work in a fast-paced environment, manage multiple priorities, and drive initiatives forward
Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or related field required
