Client Service Specialist - Workers Compensation Insurance

Responsibilities
Gatekeeping duties: Review, organize, and label incoming correspondence in the ASF Service Outlook inbox
Intake duties: Create and assign actions within the AMS (Nexsure) queue to route work to the appropriate Client Service Specialist
Support internal and external communication using Microsoft Outlook, Teams, and phone
Participate in the ASF Service phone queue, directing calls to the correct Client Service Specialist and assisting with inquiries as needed
Process loss runs request for CA State Fund policies
Assist the Client Service Team with daily operational and administrative tasks as needed
Qualification
Required
Experience working with the public or a customer-service environment preferred
Strong organizational skills with keen attention to detail and follow-through
Clear and professional communication skills, both written and verbal
Ability to manage multiple tasks effectively in a fast‑paced, high‑volume environment
Willingness to learn new systems, processes, and Insurance-related procedures
Basic proficiency with Microsoft Excel, Outlook, Word, and web-based tools
Prior work experience preferred
High school diploma
Higher education degree preferred but not required
Ability to sit, stand, and lift up to 10 pounds in a typical office environment
