Responsibilities

Design and develop RF systems and components across the RF signal chain (e.g., amplifiers, mixers, oscillators, filters, front-end architectures)
Own schematic capture and PCB layout, with attention to RF best practices
Understand and clearly communicate what is happening behind the antenna, including signal flow, gain, noise, and system-level tradeoffs
Perform RF simulation and modeling as needed to predict performance and optimize designs
Support existing designs through manufacturing troubleshooting and obsolescence management
Develop technical documentation, specifications, and design artifacts
Design to meet EMC/EMI and environmental requirements
Participate in antenna-related discussions as needed, though this role is not antenna-design focused
Develop and execute RF test plans to validate performance and reliability
Perform hands-on RF testing and troubleshooting using:
Spectrum analyzers
Network analyzers
Signal generators
Apply RF test automation concepts and best practices where applicable
Analyze test results and iterate designs to meet system requirements
Work extensively in a lab environment, including soldering and hardware bring-up
