Responsibilities
Coordinating and meeting chemical deliveries
Performing minor mechanical and electrical maintenance, troubleshooting, and basic repairs
Conducting wastewater sampling, field testing, and data management/documentation
Managing day-to-day customer needs and providing responsive field support
Overseeing logistical aspects of chemical ordering and delivery alignment
Daily travel to different customer sites within Long Island territory
Qualification
Required
5 years of relevant technical experience (field service, plant operations, electrical/mechanical background, wastewater, HVAC controls, or similar)
Experience with metering pumps (diaphragm and/or peristaltic)
Experience with chemical storage and dosing systems, including handling oxidizers and corrosives
Experience with PLC troubleshooting
Ability to perform basic mechanical and electrical maintenance and minor repairs in the field
Comfort with daily fieldwork and variable schedules (not office-based)
Valid driver's license
