Responsibilities
Design data taxonomies/structures that address key questions we need to answer about our customers
Partner with VPE/Product to integrate into backend/FE codebase, enabling pullable reports that provide insight into key business problems
Maintain data quality/reliability as the go-to for external customer facing needs and questions
Qualification
Required
Strong SQL/Python for modeling, taxonomies, and light ETL (more DE than pure BI)
Backend collab experience (e.g., schema design reflected in app code)
BI tools (Metabase/Tableau expert); AWS/Heroku a plus
Recommend additional ETL / ELT and Data Modeling tools as needed
Business acumen: You can understand our business model and the 'why' behind the data
Growth-stage scrappiness: Fix shortcomings in current data architecture/processes
