Responsibilities
Develop and maintain full-stack applications, ensuring seamless integration between frontend and backend components
Contribute to the development of RESTful APIs using Java and the Spring Boot framework, with an emphasis on security and performance
Assist in integrating AWS Bedrock to leverage foundation models and enhance application capabilities
Design and implement relational database schemas and queries to support application functionality and performance
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to deliver new features, ensuring alignment with business objectives
Write clean, maintainable, and testable code, adhering to best practices and coding standards
Participate in code reviews and contribute to the continuous improvement of development practices
Qualification
Required
Experience as a Full Stack Developer, with a solid portfolio of delivered projects
Proficiency in Java and the Spring Boot ecosystem
Hands-on experience with modern frontend frameworks (e.g., React, Angular, Vue.js)
Understanding of relational databases (e.g., MySQL, PostgreSQL) and SQL
Experience with version control systems, particularly Git
Strong problem-solving skills and a focus on delivering high-quality, secure solutions
MUST HAVE IRS OR US TREASURY EXPERIENCE
Preferred
Familiarity with AWS Bedrock and its integration with applications
Experience with CI/CD pipelines in GitHub Actions or GitLab CI
Basic knowledge of containerization with Docker and orchestration with Kubernetes
Understanding of cloud platforms (e.g., AWS, Azure, GCP) and their services
Active US Treasury Public Trust preferred. Anyone with an active DOD clearance, would be processed for a DHS Public Trust
