Responsibilities
Design and maintain network data models within DCIM/IPAM systems as the authoritative source of truth
Build intent-based automation that generates deployment artefacts (cutsheets, cable matrices, rack elevations, port mappings)
Develop configuration generation pipelines using templates and structured model data
Create device bootstrap, validation, and health-check tooling to automate the deployment lifecycle
Build automation frameworks for network provisioning, including ZTP and device onboarding
Partner closely with network engineers, DCIM software teams, and deployment teams to align physical and logical infrastructure
Contribute to the architecture of network automation systems, reducing manual effort and improving reliability at scale
Qualification
Required
Strong software skills in Python/Golang
Experience building production automation systems
5+ years of experience in network engineering with a heavy automation focus
Hands-on experience using DCIM / IPAM platforms for data modelling and API-driven automation
Experience with templated configuration management (Jinja2, Ansible, or similar)
Experience applying infrastructure-as-code principles (Terraform, Ansible, etc.)
Familiarity with modern data center networking hardware and platforms (e.g. Arista, Juniper, NVIDIA/Mellanox)
Preferred
Automation that generates physical deployment artefacts (cutsheets, cable matrices, rack layouts)
Experience with ZTP and device bootstrap workflows
Knowledge of datacenter networking fundamentals (TCP/IP, BGP, EVPN/VXLAN)
Experience with network validation or test automation
Exposure to AI / GPU clusters or HPC environments
Familiarity with observability stacks (Prometheus, Grafana)
Experience with Kubernetes networking or containerized infrastructure
Use of network lab / simulation tools for development and testing
