Responsibilities
Build advanced financial models for valuations, strategic initiatives, and investment decisions
Perform scenario and sensitivity analyses across key hospitality metrics (ADR, occupancy, RevPAR, margins, capex, cash flow)
Analyze historical operating results and forecast assumptions
Ensure modeling aligns with risk-adjusted return targets and underwriting standards
Analyze hotel P&Ls and operating performance across the portfolio
Benchmark KPIs and identify value-creation opportunities
Develop tools to track NOI growth, flow-through, capital investments, refinancing, and hold/sell scenarios
Support quarterly valuations, portfolio reporting, and investor analytics
Incorporate STR, CoStar, competitive set data, and macroeconomic indicators into forecasts
Evaluate demand drivers, supply pipelines, brand performance, and market trends
Produce forward-looking asset and market forecasts aligned with strategic objectives
Improve data quality, consistency, and automation across operating and market datasets
Build dashboards and reporting tools using Python, SQL, Power BI, Tableau, or similar platforms
Enhance analytics infrastructure and support data governance initiatives
Partner cross-functionally to support decisions across the investment lifecycle
Prepare clear, concise presentations and executive-ready materials
Translate complex analyses into strategic, decision-oriented insights
Qualification
Required
3–5 years of experience in financial modeling, analytics, or decision support
Advanced Excel modeling skills
Proficiency in Python, R, SQL, or similar analytical languages
Experience with Power BI, Tableau, or comparable BI tools
Strong understanding of forecasting, statistical analysis, and data visualization
Bachelor's degree in Finance, Real Estate, Economics, Engineering, Data Science, or related field
Preferred
Background in private equity, real estate, hospitality, or investment-focused environments preferred
Familiarity with STR, CoStar, or lodging performance tools is a plus
Understanding of hospitality operations and real estate investment principles is a plus
