Responsibilities
Responsible for ensuring quality of parts meet customer specifications and provide problem solving for Quality Issues, embracing the continuous improvements of processes
Serve as quality liaison to internal and external customers of assigned Plant
Ensure the quality of products using continuous improvement tools to increase quality level of parts
Develop Quality Systemic strategy for the process and deliverables
Monitor Quality KPIs and generate actions for improvement
Develop projects to increase the quality performance
Communicate and visit customers and suppliers, as needed
Ensure quick and correct response to quality issues either internally or externally
Assure problem solving and analysis of chronic issues
Manage the KPI of QR and flow outs for the process
Generate action plans for KPIs out of target
Improve performance and efficiency of quality controls and create improvement projects in the process
Innovate in new way and tools for improve quality
Provide response to the shop floor need in quality abnormalities
Follow supplier performance and work with suppliers for improvement
Ensure the IATF 16949 requirements are met in the process
Participate in multi-disciplinary team to improve performance of the process
Promote the quality mindset across the organization
Perform additional responsibilities as required
Qualification
Required
Bachelor's degree (or foreign equivalent) in Industrial Engineering, Chemical Engineering, Automotive Engineering or related discipline
5 years of experience in the job offered, or in a quality and/or manufacturing engineering position
Experience must include identifying strategic objectives and goals while establishing performance indicators and action plans to keep processes on target
Must have hands-on experience providing leadership for manufacturing projects, improving process and operational consistency to reduce cost and raise performance
