They are seeking a Staff Software Engineer to design, build, and maintain core product features across backend APIs, frontend interfaces, and integrations in a collaborative engineering team.

Responsibilities
Design, build, and maintain full stack product features from concept to production
Build and maintain backend services primarily in Python (preferably Django)
Develop responsive frontend experiences using TypeScript and React
Connect frontend and backend systems and ensure reliable data flow across the platform
Own features end-to-end including development, testing, deployment, debugging, and ongoing improvements
Write and maintain automated tests and ensure production-quality releases
Groom technical tickets, improve specifications, and drive execution with high accountability
Participate in system design discussions and help shape long-term technical architecture
Troubleshoot bugs and support production systems with a customer-impact mindset
Work on third-party integrations including APIs, email systems, and AI-enabled services when needed
Contribute to technical direction and system improvements as the product scales
Occasionally support third-party integrations and AI-adjacent features (not the core focus)
Qualification
Required
5+ years of professional full stack software engineering experience
Strong hands-on experience with Python and Django
Professional experience using React and TypeScript in production applications
Proven ability to ship complete features independently (backend + frontend + integration)
Experience building and consuming APIs
Strong ownership mindset with accountability for production outcomes
Comfortable working in a fast-paced startup-style environment
Comfortable owning features through build, release, and post-release support/bug fixing
Based in New York City or planning to relocate
Preferred
Experience working in B2B SaaS products
Familiarity with GraphQL or modern API architectures
Exposure to AI-powered features or third-party service integrations
Experience working with distributed engineering teams
Startup or high-growth company experience
