Nonprofit Social Media and Event Intern - Spring 2026
The Little Lighthouse Foundation is seeking a dedicated and motivated individual to join our team as a Nonprofit Events/Social Media Intern. This internship opportunity provides hands-on experience in event coordination, social media management, and volunteer engagement.
Responsibilities
Event promotion on event platforms and social media platforms
Event coordination with other volunteers
Attending volunteer programs
Gathering social media content from volunteer programs and events
Posting and managing social media (Facebook, Instagram, Twitter, TikTok)
Managing the calendar of events and programming
Facilitating the design of flyers and e-vites
Volunteer recruitment
Coordinating Corporate Volunteer groups
Qualification
Required
Detail oriented
Excellent writing skills in English
Able to follow instructions
Positive demeanor
Good listener
Great work ethic
Reliable internet connection and access to a computer or laptop
Must be motivated and passionate
Preferred
Juniors/seniors preferred, but not required
Recommended to be applied towards college credit
