They are seeking a Part-Time Mental Health Provider to join their TalkNow Team, providing emotional support to students and faculty through a 24/7 telehealth service. The role involves crisis intervention, risk assessment, and ensuring professional conduct while working remotely.

Responsibilities

Expected time to spend with a client during a session is 20 minutes + 10 minutes for documentation (no more than 30 minute sessions total)
Provide remote care from the convenience of your home or office while maintaining a healthy work/life balance
Don’t worry about reimbursement, billing codes, or insurance credentialing. TimelyCare does not work with insurance providers and partners directly with colleges and universities across the country. Students can access and utilize TimelyCare’s services without the hassle of insurance or costly co-pays

The population TimelyCare serves is made up of highly motivated, high functioning students in higher education institutions who are ready to grow and engage with behavioral health services and treatment
Students and clients will not have access to your phone number or email
Use active listening skills and evidence based modalities in order to build rapport, collaborate, support, and progress student and client care
Professional conduct with all students, members, peers, and support staff
Able to remain calm and adapt to the changing needs of the members we serve
Able to assess, triage, and document sessions with members potentially in crisis and/or are experiencing thoughts of self-harm or suicidal ideation
Able to respond to members who are potentially in crisis with professionalism, support, empathy, and an awareness of cultural humility

Required

Completion of a Master's Degree (M.A./M.S.) in Psychology, Professional Counseling, Social Work, or Marriage & Family Therapy with Provisional or Associate License is REQUIRED
Fully Licensed Mental Health Practitioner - PLUS
Strong clinical writing, assessment, and active listening skills
Experience with crisis intervention and de-escalation
Experience providing therapeutic services to young adults, adolescents, at risk populations, or have worked in a community mental health, crisis support, or a college counseling environment
