Responsibilities
Work with computer graphics specialists/modelers, simulator technicians, and senior software engineers
Design, code, test, debug, manage, and deploy real-time computer graphics rendering engines and simulator models for flight simulators
Develop simulated models that include vehicle dynamics and systems, 2D/3D computer graphics using OpenGL, virtual/blended reality, graphical user interfaces, and hardware interfacing to network and serial communication systems
Work with software engineers to optimize, debug, and integrate visual databases for real-time rendering using the company’s proprietary tools and applications
Assist in proposal development writing, work breakdown schedules, technical writing, day-to-day scheduling and project management duties
Qualification
Required
Software Engineer Level 3 or 4 experience
Strong background in Linux and Windows development environments
Proven experience converting or porting applications from Linux to Windows 11
Ability to work independently and as part of a team
Preferred
Experience with C/C++ computer programming language
Experience with Microsoft Visual Studio 2013-2022 integrated development environment
Experience with Windows and Linux operating systems
Experience with Microsoft Office 365
Experience with project management software
