Responsibilities

Provide engineering services for planning, design, and delivery of coastal and civil projects
Prepare coastal studies including sea-level rise analysis, wave run-up, and design storm evaluations
Serve as Project Manager for municipal and private coastal development projects
Manage project scope, schedule, and budgets
Perform civil and structural design calculations
Coordinate with multidisciplinary project teams
Participate in public meetings and stakeholder engagement
Maintain client satisfaction and project quality standards
Support workplace safety initiatives and company policies

Required

Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering
Registered Professional Engineer (PE) in the State of California
Authorized to work in the United States
5–10 years of professional civil/coastal engineering experience
Strong experience with AutoCAD Civil 3D (design & drafting)
Proven experience with coastal projects such as: Marinas, piers, seawalls, docks, ramps
Erosion protection and coastal studies
Hydraulic modeling of surface and subsurface drainage systems
Design of: Water distribution systems, Sanitary sewer and wastewater conveyance systems, Pump stations (design & rehabilitation), Wastewater treatment plants, Sewer rehabilitation and replacement, Roadway restoration and utility relocation
Preparation of construction documents, specifications, and cost estimates
Erosion and sediment control design
Permitting and coordination with California Coastal Commission and local agencies
Familiarity with coastal development permits and procedures
