Electronic Technician

The Electronic Technician is responsible for troubleshooting, repairing, calibrating, and testing electromechanical medical instruments and assemblies to ensure quality and performance standards are met.

Responsibilities
Diagnose, troubleshoot, repair, calibrate, adjust, and test analog and digital electromechanical medical instruments in accordance with established procedures and specifications (approximately 70% of role)
Perform functional testing of medical instruments and assemblies
Accurately document all repairs, inspections, and test results in Quality Device History Records (DHR)
Create labels and package medical instruments and assemblies for shipment
Complete daily work cell performance metric tracking
Evaluate repairs and prepare customer repair quotes as required
Follow all quality, safety, and compliance guidelines
Qualification
Required
Strong troubleshooting and repair skills for electromechanical systems
Ability to read and interpret drawings, schematics, blueprints, and procedures
Experience with calibration and functional testing of medical or electronic devices
Basic math skills
Ability to read and write in English
Strong attention to detail and documentation accuracy
Associate's Degree in Electronics from a two-year college or technical school
4–7 years of experience as an Electronic Technician or Service Technician
