Responsibilities
Manage daily account activities, including client communication, project coordination, and deadline management
Assess client needs and priorities while proactively identifying opportunities to exceed goals
Collaborate with account leads and independently manage smaller accounts as needed
Develop and execute creative PR strategies, pitches, and story angles
Research and write press releases, media pitches, fact sheets, advisories, and contributed content
Build and maintain strong relationships with national, regional, and trade media contacts
Secure consistent, high-quality media coverage across earned media channels
Manage and execute social media campaigns across platforms including LinkedIn, Instagram, and X
Research target media outlets and journalists using media databases and AI tools
Mentor and support junior team members through coaching, feedback, and guidance
Contribute to process improvement, brainstorms, and internal initiatives
Perform additional duties as assigned
Qualification
Required
Bachelor's degree in Public Relations, Communications, Journalism, or a related field
4–5 years of experience in a public relations agency environment
Proven track record of securing national, regional, and niche media coverage
Strong relationships with journalists and influencers across multiple industries
Excellent written and verbal communication skills; strong command of AP style
Ability to ideate and execute compelling pitches, thought leadership, and content
Experience managing and growing social media presence across major platforms
Highly organized, detail-oriented, and able to manage multiple accounts simultaneously
Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to collaborate and lead in a team environment
