General Manager
One Haus is an acclaimed hospitality brand expanding into the US market, and they are seeking a General Manager to lead a high-profile new restaurant opening in the West Village. The ideal candidate will have experience in upscale dining and a strong background in managing operations and a team in a high-pressure environment.
Responsibilities
Lead hiring, interviews, and training; build a cohesive FOH team aligned with the brand
Serve as the visible floor leader—able to control the room with ease
Maintain service excellence with calm, high-touch leadership
Oversee daily operations, labor, and cost controls informed by P&L insights
Ensure readiness for opening review process and post-opening evaluation
Maintain compliance with NYC DOH and labor standards
Qualification
Required
2–3 years as a General Manager, or a senior AGM from a serious concept ready to step into a GM role
Strong working knowledge of a P&L, including the ability to adjust operations accordingly
Hands-on with invoicing, reporting, and administrative systems
Experience in upscale, refined dining that is elevated but approachable
Well versed in the NYC market, including prior experience navigating a review
Ability to travel internationally for training
Full working availability to the opening phase
Calm, adaptable, and unshaken under pressure
Poised, professional, and emotionally intelligent
Hands-on leader with warmth, clarity, and authority
Preferred
Background in South American concepts strongly preferred
Spanish speaking not required or but strongly preferred
