Responsibilities
Design and oversee integrations that support bi-directional synchronization between client-facing tools, endpoint applications (tax, audit, and CAS), and internal firm systems
Develop and/or direct the development of API-based solutions that enable secure, reliable data flow into, out of, and between firm platforms
Identify opportunities to eliminate redundant manual processes and improve data flow across firm systems
Translate business and operational needs into clear technical requirements and solution designs
Ensure integrations, data handling, and system access alignment with GLBA compliance requirements
Lead, coordinate, and manage external contractors, or technology vendors as needed
Review architecture, integrations, and data processes to ensure accuracy, security, and scalability
Collaborate with firm leadership to ensure integrations align with standardized workflows and client needs
Maintain documentation for system integrations, data mappings, synchronization logic, and control evidence as needed for audits
Troubleshoot and resolve integration issues, data inconsistencies, and system errors
Work dynamically with the marketing department (SEO, SEM, Social, Paid Ads, PR, Email, etc) to create custom and autonomous workflows to benefit business development and marketing activities
Stay informed about technology trends and tools relevant to professional services firms and automation
Assist with other duties as assigned
Qualification
Required
Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or related field, or equivalent professional experience
Minimum of 5 years of experience in software development, systems integration, technology operations, or a related role
Must be authorized to work in the United States and not require work authorization sponsorship by our company for this position now or in the future
Preferred
Experience working in a GLBA or SOC 2 regulated environment or with audited systems
Experience with at least one major CRM platform (e.g., Salesforce, HubSpot, Zoho, Pipedrive), including building custom integrations and connecting native APIs with related applications
Experience in a professional services or CPA firm environment
Familiarity with tax or accounting software platforms (including CCH Access)
Spanish language proficiency
