Site Superintendent
Spencer Ogden is seeking a Civil Site Superintendent for their Mining & Civil Construction projects. The role involves leading project planning and scheduling, ensuring quality assurance and compliance, and championing safety management on site.

Responsibilities
Lead the planning, sequencing, and execution of civil construction activities in line with project schedules and milestones
Coordinate labour, plant, materials, and subcontractors to optimise productivity and minimise downtime
Monitor progress against the program, identify risks or delays, and implement corrective actions as required
Provide regular site progress updates and input into short-term and look-ahead schedules
Ensure all works are delivered in accordance with project specifications, drawings, and relevant Australian Standards
Implement and maintain QA systems, including inspections, test plans (ITPs), and documentation
Oversee compliance with contractual, environmental, and regulatory requirements across site activities
Identify non-conformances and lead timely corrective and preventative actions
Champion a strong safety culture and lead by example in accordance with WHS and site safety requirements
Conduct pre-starts, toolbox talks, and safety meetings to ensure workforce awareness and engagement
Identify hazards, assess risks, and ensure appropriate controls are implemented and maintained
Investigate incidents and near misses, and drive continuous improvement in site safety performance
Act as the primary on-site liaison between project management, engineers, subcontractors, suppliers, and client representatives
Coordinate daily site activities to ensure smooth interfaces between work fronts and disciplines
Communicate clear expectations to crews and subcontractors regarding scope, safety, quality, and schedule
Maintain accurate site records, reports, and documentation to support project delivery
Qualification
