Responsibilities
To deliver quality direct patient care under appropriate clinical supervision to patients with psychiatric disorders, or those duly diagnosed with psychiatric and chemical dependency disorders
To serve actively and constructively as a member of the organization's multi-disciplinary treatment team, and support the organization's philosophy of care
Qualification
Required
ADN
Basic knowledge of psychiatric disorders and detoxification assessment along with treatment procedures for chemically dependent patients
Ability to interact effectively with the clinical team and other staff
Competencies: organization, attention to detail, problem-solving and time management
Empathy for patients and their families
Flexibility
Consistent telephone etiquette and quality customer service at all times
Proven capability of handling sensitive and highly confidential information
Ability to learn concepts and develop additional and needed skills within reasonable time frame via organization's orientation and training program
Good written and oral communication skills
Legible handwriting
Current CA - LVN License
CPR & CPI (or to be obtained within 30 days upon hire)
