The successful candidate will design and build a teaser website that communicates credibility and innovation while focusing on energy transition and sustainability.

Responsibilities
Designing and building a teaser website using WordPress
Applying supplied brand guidelines accurately and creatively
Creating a strong visual narrative around: Energy transition, Clean energy, Sustainability, Digital platforms and data, Technology and innovation
Selecting and integrating stock imagery (access to libraries such as iStock will be provided)
Using the brand’s graphic device creatively, including: Masking imagery within the device, Reversing the device with imagery showing through the shape
Designing a modern, credible, and visually engaging interface
Incorporating light motion or video elements for visual interest: This may include short AI-generated video content, Motion should be subtle and appropriate for a teaser experience
Ensuring the site is: Responsive across devices, Performance-conscious, Easy to update during the teaser phase
Qualification
Required
5+ years of work experience
Proven experience as a WordPress Designer or Multimedia Designer
Strong visual design and UX sensibility
Experience working strictly to brand guidelines
Ability to translate complex or technical concepts into clear visual storytelling
Comfortable working with stock imagery libraries
Masking, compositing, and creative layout techniques
Ability to work independently and deliver to tight timelines
South African–based candidates only
WordPress build (custom theme or lightweight framework acceptable)
Strong typography, layout, and visual hierarchy
Experience integrating stock imagery
Experience integrating short video or motion elements
Clean handover suitable for future updates or expansion
English only
Preferred
Experience with technology, sustainability, energy, or data-driven platforms
Exposure to AI-assisted video or motion tools
Prior work on teaser, launch, or pre-product websites
