Workday Recruiting, Talent & Performance Consultant
Irvine Consolidated is a consulting firm that partners with Workday Customers to optimize their Workday solutions. The Workday Recruiting, Talent & Performance Consultant will design, configure, and implement solutions while supporting full-lifecycle projects and providing ongoing optimization and advisory support.
Responsibilities
Partner with Irvine Consolidated Customers to understand recruiting and HR business requirements and translate them into effective Workday Recruiting, Talent & Performance, and HCM solutions
Lead discovery sessions and client workshops to gather requirements, define process flows, and document system design
Configure and implement Workday Recruiting, Talent & Performance solutions in alignment with Workday best practices and Irvine Consolidated delivery standards
Conduct fit-gap analysis to identify configuration needs and recommend scalable, future-state solutions
Support all phases of project delivery, including discovery, configuration, testing, deployment, and post-production optimization
Design and build Workday reports, dashboards, and analytics to support recruiting operations, compliance, and leadership visibility
Troubleshoot and resolve complex configuration and business process issues, including downstream impacts and integration touchpoints
Support data conversion activities and collaborate with integration teams on mapping, testing, and validation of integrations between Workday and external systems
Advise customers on optimizing usability, scalability, compliance, and overall system performance within the Workday Recruiting, Talent & Performance ecosystem
Create and maintain configuration documentation, training materials, and conduct knowledge transfer sessions for client teams
Stay current on Workday releases and new features, proactively identifying opportunities for client enhancements and continuous improvement
Contribute to the evolution of Irvine Consolidated methodologies, tools, and best practices
Qualification
Required
Strong competency with HR and Recruiting, Talent & Performance functions
2–3 years of Workday functional implementation and/or optimization experience, with a strong emphasis on Recruiting, Talent & Performance
Hands-on experience configuring and supporting Workday across multiple HCM modules
Solid understanding of recruiting workflows, compliance requirements, and reporting
Strong knowledge of the Workday Business Process Framework and its impact on system functionality
Excellent written and verbal communication skills with strong analytical and problem-solving abilities
Ability to work independently while collaborating effectively with cross-functional project teams
Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Information Systems, Business, or a related field
Workday certifications in HCM, Recruiting, Talent & Performance required
