Administrative Asst/Payroll
Kinder Morgan, Inc. is seeking an Administrative Assistant/Payroll to provide internal support services to employees and direct support to the facilities management team. Responsibilities
Process terminal payroll
Assist with new hire orientation and benefit enrollment
Administer day-to-day facility office operations, including moves/adds/changes
Coordinate general facility maintenance operations and vendor contract compliance
Coordinate new hire and separation processes including access cards, parking, telephones, location set-up, etc
Process invoices, accruals and variance reporting; assist with budget development, tracking and forecasting
Develop and maintain department processes and electronic filing systems. Ensure ongoing improvement through evaluation of current processes
Perform monthly audit and analysis reports
Coordinate and ensure compliance with, but not limited to: city, state and local authorities related to OSHA, DOT and fire district regulations, etc
Assist in project and event coordination
Back up duties to include all positions and responsibilities of facilities staff
Work in an accountable and responsible manner to perform the required and expected duties with minimal supervision
Complete work in an accurate, organized and prioritized manner
Work cooperatively and effectively with others, and maintain confidentiality when appropriate
Deal with a wide variety of people with tact, courtesy and professionalism
Speak clearly, both in person and by telephone, using a high level of verbal and listening skills
Maintain a regular, dependable attendance, and high level of performance
Maintain a high regard for personal safety, for the safety of company assets and employees, and the general public
Occasional overtime may be required and is anticipated
Occasional travel to other terminal locations as needed for additional training
Qualification
Required
High School Diploma
1 - 3 Years of experience
Provide internal support services to all employees and direct support to facilities management team including payroll and benefit support
Perform various clerical, administrative and general office duties involving report writing, word processing, invoice coding and tracking, file and records management, budgetary tracking, and telephone support for the Hertford office
Perform analysis of statements, invoices and prepares spreadsheets and reports as requested
