International Director of Operations
P.F. Chang's is seeking an International Director of Operations to provide strategic and operational leadership to franchise partners across global markets. This role involves driving operational excellence and brand consistency while supporting partners throughout their operational journey.

Responsibilities
Maintain direct, ongoing communication with franchise partners to ensure alignment with brand standards, operational expectations, and performance goals
Act as a goodwill ambassador for the P.F. Chang’s brand across international markets
Oversee pre-opening processes including cost communication, executive training schedules, MIT program support, and operational readiness
Support and execute operational logistics for pre-opening marketing events (Media Party, Press Conference, VIP Dinner, Grand Opening)
Conduct market and restaurant site visits to assess operational performance, compliance, and brand execution
Develop structured visit plans and ensure follow-through on action items
Provide coaching and solutions to improve sales, profitability, and service standards through partner calls, presentations, and in-market support
Lead Quarterly Business Reviews (QBRs) to assess performance, identify opportunities, and set forward-looking objectives
Monitor repair and maintenance activity through bi-weekly calls and program oversight
Apply working knowledge of business mathematics and accounting to support partner decision-making
Approve Birds Eye View drawings for bar and hospitality areas
Lead construction handover and validate restaurant readiness
Approve hospitality items and consult on equipment modifications to protect brand integrity
Serve as an external consultant, offering objective operational perspective grounded in best practices
Qualification
Required
5+ years of current casual or upscale casual dining, multi-unit restaurant management experience
Proven experience working across cultures and international markets
Highly developed influencing, communication, and presentation skills
Strong analytical, decision-making, and problem-solving abilities
Ability to present ideas clearly and persuasively, both verbally and in writing
Strong listening, conflict resolution, and training facilitation skills
Proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Outlook
Extensive domestic and international travel required (approximately 140–180 days annually)
When not traveling international - remote role with work performed from home as well as occasionally at the Global Support Center (Corporate Office in Scottsdale, AZ)
Must be authorized to work in the United States without employer sponsorship
Valid passport, driver's license, and ability to enter international territories
Preferred
Bachelor's degree in a related field strongly preferred
Fluency in both English and Spanish preferred
