Responsibilities
Design, specify, and program PLCs, DCS, HMIs, servo systems, sensors, and drives
Collaborate with engineering, maintenance, production, OEMs, and vendors for equipment design, installation, and commissioning
Troubleshoot and modify control software to improve machine and system performance
Lead small capital projects and support continuous improvement initiatives
Integrate MES systems and coordinate machine data collection
Provide training and mentorship to engineering, maintenance, and operations personnel
Stay updated on new automation technologies, safety regulations, and best practices
Provide after-hours/off-shift technical support as needed
Qualification
Required
Bachelor's degree in Electrical, Mechatronics, Automation, Robotics, or Manufacturing Engineering
Minimum 3+ years' experience in high-speed manufacturing environments
Experience with Rockwell, Allen-Bradley, and Siemens PLC hardware/software
Strong knowledge of motion control, servo systems, and Cognex vision systems
Hands-on MES, robotics (Mantec), and process controls experience
Familiarity with MS Project and SAP
Skilled in AutoCAD, HMI design, and industrial automation programming
Personable, driven, eager to learn, and strong technical aptitude
