Responsibilities
Craft sophisticated digital baseband logic design in state-of-art cellular ICs that deliver more performance in our products than ever before
Work across teams to transform improved hardware elements into a single, integrated design
Help innovate new wireless systems technologies that continually outperform
Collaborate with other product development groups across Apple to push the industry boundaries of what wireless systems can do and improve the product experience for customers across the world
Qualification
Required
BS with 3 + years of relevant industry experience
Logic design experience using System Verilog including high speed and deep sub-micron design
Familiarity with design tools for RTL simulation, debugging, synthesis and timing analysis
Experience with power management/techniques for low power design
Experience with control logic intensive designs and AMBA bus protocols
Preferred
Experience with PCIe, DMA and NoC designs
Experience in implementing hardware for networking protocols
Experience with security algorithms like AES
Knowledge of C/C++/SystemC modeling
Knowledge of data-link layers for cellular (MAC/RLC/PDCP), WiFi or Ethernet
Silicon debug experience
