Responsibilities
Develops and leads project work across multiple disciplines and multiple plant locations
Responsible for the conception, development, justification and implementation of manufacturing and distribution processes
Interacts and engages with all facility engineers and shop floor personnel in order to monitor and manage operational processes
Responsible for defining, planning and executing continuous improvement projects by leveraging project management skills, shop floor experience and creative problem solving skills
Leads activities to improve production and equipment capabilities through application of lean manufacturing principles
Reviews new technologies to ensure optimal processes are achieved and maintained
Will work in a fast paced enviroment with high profile exposure and engagement with local and corporate leadership
Travel requirements are 5% to 10% in order to facilitate cross functional site initiatives
Must be able to manage multiple initiatives and communicate progress to engineering leadership and shop floor staake holders
Qualification
Required
Bachelors degree in Mechanical, Industrial or Manufacturing Engineering
0 - 10 years of related experience
Ability to manage multiple initiatives and communicate progress to engineering leadership and shop floor stakeholders
Experience in developing and leading project work across multiple disciplines and multiple plant locations
Experience in conception, development, justification and implementation of manufacturing and distribution processes
Ability to interact and engage with facility engineers and shop floor personnel to monitor and manage operational processes
Experience in defining, planning and executing continuous improvement projects leveraging project management skills, shop floor experience and creative problem solving skills
Experience in leading activities to improve production and equipment capabilities through application of lean manufacturing principles
Ability to review new technologies to ensure optimal processes are achieved and maintained
Willingness to travel 5% to 10% to facilitate cross functional site initiatives
