Responsibilities
Assist in implementing and promoting company safety policies, training and procedures
Create impactful training content using tools like Canva, Heygen, and other digital platforms to develop videos, infographics, and visual materials that make safety training engaging and memorable
Design and produce safety communications, posters, digital signage, and social media content for internal audiences
Support routine safety inspections, hazard assessments, and ride-along
Help coordinate and track employee safety training and maintain training records
Participate in incident reporting and investigation processes, documenting findings
Monitor driver safety and implement safety initiatives
Develop and deliver safety orientations and toolbox talks (bonus points if you can record and edit them!)
Support the management of workers' compensation claims by: Gathering incident reports and related documentation. Assisting with initial claim filing and communication with insurance providers. Tracking claim progress and maintaining confidentiality. Coordinating return-to-work programs with management
Qualification
Required
Tech-savvy mindset - comfortable learning and using digital tools to create professional content
Proficiency in Google Suite (Docs, Sheets, Slides, Drive) - this is a must
Strong communication skills, both written and visual
Comfortable with travel for site visits and training sessions
Self-starter who can work independently in a hybrid environment
Preferred
Experience with design tools like Canva is a huge plus (or willingness to learn quickly)
Familiarity with video creation/editing tools like Heygen, Loom, or similar platforms is a bonus
Some safety experience or safety training background preferred, but not required - we value creativity and communication skills just as much
