Responsibilities
Process invoices and payments, including ACH transactions and approximately 220 checks per month
Perform weekly reconciliations for over 20 bank accounts to ensure accuracy and compliance
Assist in preparing depreciation entries and completing month-end close activities
Retrieve and organize financial data to support the annual audit requirements
Maintain accurate coding for accounts payable and invoice processing
Monitor and track payment schedules while addressing any discrepancies
Collaborate with team members to streamline accounting processes and improve efficiency
Utilize Yardi software for transaction management and reporting
Provide support in managing financial records for a diverse portfolio including office buildings, hotels, parking facilities, and more
Qualification
Required
Proven experience in accounts payable and general accounting practices
Proficiency in coding invoices and account coding
Familiarity with processing payments through Automated Clearing House (ACH) and check runs
Strong attention to detail and ability to manage a high volume of transactions
Excellent organizational and time management skills to meet deadlines
Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment
Knowledge of bank account reconciliation and audit preparation processes
Preferred
Experience working with Yardi software is highly preferred
