Vice President, Engineering and Advanced Manufacturing
Concurrent Technologies Corporation (CTC) is seeking a dynamic and visionary leader to serve as the Vice President and Division Head for Engineering and Advanced Manufacturing. This executive role is responsible for driving the strategic direction, operational excellence, and sustainable growth of the Engineering and Manufacturing division, leading a multidisciplinary team to deliver innovative solutions in advanced engineering, prototyping, manufacturing, and materials development for government and industry clients.

Responsibilities
Champion the organization’s mission, values, and vision, ensuring alignment across all stakeholders, including the Board of Directors, employees, clients, and regulatory agencies
Develop and execute the division’s strategic plan aligned with CTC’s overall mission and goals
Identify emerging trends and opportunities in engineering and manufacturing to drive innovation and growth
Partner with the CEO to set ambitious yet achievable goals, fostering a culture of continuous improvement and adaptability
Oversee the design, development, and delivery of advanced engineering solutions, including prototyping, additive manufacturing, and lightweight materials
Drive long-term planning for organizational transformation, business growth, and technology adoption
Ensure operational excellence by implementing best practices in project management, quality assurance, and resource allocation
Monitor division performance metrics and ensure projects are delivered on time, within budget, and to client satisfaction
Manage the division’s budget, ensuring financial sustainability and profitability
Collaborate with the CEO to develop and monitor budgets, addressing challenges with transparency and creativity
Leverage data-driven insights to optimize financial performance and inform decision-making
Build and nurture relationships with clients, partners, and internal teams to foster trust and collaboration
Actively seek opportunities to enhance responsiveness to client and business needs, driving value creation
Lead proposal development efforts with a focus on innovation and strategic alignment
Represent CTC at industry conferences, events, and client meetings to enhance visibility and reputation
Lead, mentor, and inspire a multidisciplinary team of engineers, scientists, and technical experts
Foster a culture of innovation, collaboration, and continuous improvement within the division
Collaborate with Human Resources to attract, develop, and retain top talent, ensuring alignment with organizational goals
Promote professional development and leadership growth, preparing the workforce for future challenges
Qualification
Required
PhD in Engineering, Manufacturing, Materials Science, or related field with 10+ years of relevant experience, OR
MA/MS in Engineering, Manufacturing, Materials Science, or related field with 12+ years of relevant experience, OR
BA/BS in Engineering, Manufacturing, Materials Science, or related field with 14+ years of relevant experience
Minimum of 15 years of experience in engineering, manufacturing, or related fields, with at least 5 years in a senior leadership role
Proven track record of leading large-scale engineering and manufacturing projects for government or industry clients
Demonstrated success in business development, client relationship management, and strategic planning
Strong technical expertise in advanced engineering, prototyping, additive manufacturing, and materials development
Exceptional leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills
Ability to think strategically and execute operationally in a fast-paced, dynamic environment
Proficiency in financial management, budgeting, and forecasting
Ability to secure and maintain a security clearance
