Responsibilities
Lead and review corporate income tax compliance and consulting engagements
Manage and review ASC 740 tax provisions, including complex calculations and disclosures
Supervise and direct multiple client service teams across concurrent engagements
Provide strategic tax planning, consulting, and compliance services to clients
Advise on federal, state, and local income taxes, including multistate matters
Support international tax considerations and transfer pricing in collaboration with specialists
Serve as a trusted advisor and primary point of contact for key clients
Identify and pursue business development opportunities, contributing to revenue growth
Mentor, coach, and develop staff while managing projects to budget and deadline
Qualification
Required
CPA or active JD / attorney license required
Bachelor's degree in Accounting
5–7+ years of progressive corporate tax compliance and consulting experience
Strong technical expertise in ASC 740 – Accounting for Income Taxes
Solid understanding of corporate income taxation, including state and local tax issues
Excellent client service, communication, presentation, and leadership skills
Ability and willingness to work in a hybrid environment
Preferred
Master's degree in Taxation, LLM in Taxation, or JD
Recent experience in public accounting or professional services
Background with a Top 20 accounting firm
Experience with ONESOURCE Tax Provision (OTP / OIT) software
Exposure to international taxation and transfer pricing
Stable employment history with limited job hopping
