Communications Program Manager
The OHSU Foundation is seeking a Communications Program Manager to manage assigned projects for the Communications team. This role involves delivering end-to-end support for high-priority programs and initiatives, coordinating resources, and ensuring the successful completion of complex program deliverables.

Responsibilities
Serve as the primary point of contact for assigned programs, including Ignite Magazine, Research Content Series, and key Doernbecher, Annual Giving, and Grateful Patient and Family initiatives, providing end-to-end program support to ensure communications assets are delivered on time and in alignment with program objectives
Manage communications project requests in collaboration with the Senior Communications Project Manager, including responding to intake requests, gathering requirements from stakeholders, assigning and tracking work across the Communications team, monitoring progress, and ensuring final delivery
Facilitate program and project governance by scheduling meetings, preparing agendas, documenting decisions, and distributing meeting notes and updates to stakeholders
Coordinate with external vendors and partners—such as creative freelancers, printers, and agencies—to manage workflows and ensure deliverables meet quality standards, timelines, and program goals
Support quarterly project reporting and dashboard development to provide visibility into project status, risks, and outcomes
Collaborate closely with pods and cross-functional teams to develop initiatives, identify risks and dependencies, and surface opportunities across multiple concurrent projects
Support Communications department operational initiatives, including the project management software implementation and rollout, process documentation and improvement, intake optimization, and organization and maintenance of Communications files and folders on SharePoint
Qualification
Required
Exceptional project management and organizational skills, with the ability to independently manage and prioritize multiple projects simultaneously
Strong attention to detail and commitment to delivering high-quality work in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment
Process-oriented mindset, with experience improving workflows and operational efficiency
Strong customer service orientation, with the ability to anticipate and respond to team and stakeholder needs
Demonstrated interpersonal and communication skills; able to collaborate professionally and diplomatically with colleagues and partners at all levels, including OHSUF staff, University partners, donors, and vendors
Self-directed and accountable, with the ability to take initiative and follow through on commitments
Culturally responsive and inclusive, with a demonstrated commitment to advancing OHSUF's values of diversity, equity, and inclusion
Proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel, Outlook, and PowerPoint
3+ years' experience with project or program management
Experience implementing, leveraging and/or maintaining project management processes and systems
Experience working on marketing, communications, or other creative projects, i.e. collateral for digital channels, collateral for events, proposals, campaigns
Preferred
Experience using project management software
Experience using SharePoint
