Responsibilities
Work to reduce risk across the organization, identify risks, and prioritize them across functions according to magnitude and likelihood
Develop and implement controls cross-functionally
Monitor, track, and report on those risks over time
Lead our Enterprise Risk Management System, periodically meeting with all function leads to complete/update their risk registers and mitigation plans
Serve as liaison between Milo’s and insurance broker for consumer complaints
Serve as our insurance program manager and primary point of contact with Milo’s insurance broker
Handle Milo’s annual insurance renewal process with broker
Oversee all day-to-day insurance claims activity
Lead our Crisis Response TEAm for all crisis events
Maintain/update our Crisis Response plans
Conduct periodic tabletop assessments to pressure test the effectiveness of our plans
Be a collaborative TEAm player, supporting the Legal TEAm across a wide range of projects
Uphold and demonstrate leadership in all Corporate Responsibility programming including recycling, social advocacy, and MMAD volunteering opportunities
This position has food safety responsibilities

Qualification
Required
Minimum of a bachelor's degree in risk management or related field & at least 6-8 years of proven risk management experience; or equivalent combination of education and experience
Experience in the food/beverage industry and/or CPG industry a plus
Experience with conducting insurance renewals across all types of insurance (e.g., general liability, property, auto, umbrella, excess, cyber, executive risk, employment practices liability, product recall)
Familiarity with captive insurance programs
Prior participation in crisis response scenarios and product recalls
Strong organizational skills related to metrics and reporting
Ability to broker consensus across functions and among people at all levels of the organization
