Responsibilities

Develop a high level of understanding of the mortgage & securitized markets and the department’s investment strategies

Review portfolio data and risk analytics

Monitor various controls and risk levels

Manage and enhance the team’s portfolio attribution process

Develop, update, and maintain various automated processes, portfolio reports and tools

Act as a conduit between Operations and the Trading Desk

Calculate fund analytics such as duration and scenario analysis using Yield Book and other models

Participate in process improvement and technology development efforts

Create reports and complete projects on an ad-hoc basis for Portfolio Managers, Analysts, and Traders

Assist with other departmental projects and functions as needed

Required

Bachelor's degree, major or minor in Finance, Economics, Computer Science, Data Science, or related field

Demonstrated interest in financial markets and asset management through either coursework or work/internship experience

Strong Excel skills and ability to work with large datasets

Ability to learn and use new software applications (i.e. Bloomberg, Yield Book, Tableau, Blackrock applications)

Excellent organizational, interpersonal, and time management skills

Excellent record of academic achievement

Positive attitude, strong work ethic, and attention to detail
