Responsibilities
Administer, maintain, and optimize Windows Server environments (2016/2019/2022)
Manage Active Directory, Group Policy, DNS, DHCP , and Windows patching
Support and maintain VMware, Hyper-V, and Nutanix virtualization platforms
Monitor system performance and troubleshoot hardware, software, and network issues
Implement and support backup/recovery solutions and disaster recovery plans
Install, configure, and maintain Microsoft SQL Server environments
Write and optimize SQL queries and scripts for automation and reporting
Develop and maintain PowerShell scripts for system automation
Maintain system security, including system hardening and vulnerability management
Collaborate with development teams, customers, and adjacent technical teams
Produce and maintain technical documentation for configurations and change controls
Follow ITIL best practices and change management procedures
Qualification
Required
5–7 years of experience in Windows Systems Administration
Strong hands-on experience with VMware and Nutanix virtualization
Experience with Microsoft SQL Server (installation, maintenance, performance tuning)
Proficiency in PowerShell scripting
Strong experience with Active Directory and Windows infrastructure services
Solid understanding of network fundamentals (TCP/IP, firewalls, VPNs)
Strong troubleshooting, analytical, and problem-solving skills
Excellent communication and collaboration abilities
Customer-focused mindset and attention to detail
Preferred
Experience with Hyper-V
Knowledge of ITIL processes
Experience with backup and DR tools
Exposure to vulnerability management tools
Microsoft Certified: Windows Hybrid Server Administrator
Microsoft Certified: Administrator Associate
CompTIA Security+ (or equivalent)
Bachelor's Degree (preferred)
