Responsibilities
Provide customer service to site employees, contractors, and visitors by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities at a manufacturing location
Manage access control at entrances and gates by checking identification, issuing visitor credentials, maintaining visitor and vehicle logs, and coordinating entry approvals per site policy
Screen inbound and outbound traffic for unauthorized access and/or prohibited items, and report irregularities through established reporting and communication channels
Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, including initiating notifications, documenting events, and assisting with site emergency actions as directed
Conduct regular and random patrols of production areas, warehouses, and perimeter zones to help to deter unauthorized activity and identify hazards, maintenance issues, and policy violations
Qualification
Required
A valid driver's license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements
Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles
Possess a high school diploma or equivalent
As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws
As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law
Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment
A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only
Preferred
Comfortable using a computer or tablet is preferred
Access control and/or badge experience is preferred
CPR and/or First Aid is preferred and may be completed post hire
