Responsibilities
Create, maintain, and manage securities within the Security Master
Provide Security Master and reference data support to Traders, Surveillance, and other stakeholders globally
Respond to high-profile and time-sensitive data queries and lead issue resolution with Technology partners and vendors
Review daily exception reports (e.g., GSD, Aladdin) and resolve identified exceptions
Resolve cash and asset reconciliation breaks by researching reference data discrepancies
Partner with global teams in West Conshohocken, PA and Boston, MA on security master cleanups, new data points, and projects
Support complex tasks such as monitoring Pace/Summit data feeds and OMNI security master requirements
Lead escalation and resolution of security master issues
Engage with internal partners on strategic initiatives, workflow improvements, and new data requirements
Leverage data quality tools to monitor and enhance data accuracy; propose new data quality checks as needed
Collaborate with leadership on process improvement initiatives
Act as a point person for new products and automation opportunities
Provide guidance, oversight, and development support to junior team members
Qualification
Required
Strong understanding of investment instruments and their associated reference data requirements
Expertise in Aladdin applications, particularly Security Master, Dashboards, Aladdin View, and Reconciliation
Experience resolving reconciliation breaks related to reference data
Minimum 4+ years of experience within investment management or asset management operations
Strong ability to work independently while collaborating across global teams
Demonstrated ability to identify automation opportunities and process efficiencies
This role involves both BAU production support and strategic initiatives
Proficiency with market data platforms such as Bloomberg and Refinitiv
Experience working in high-volume, high-intensity operational environments
Strong risk awareness and commitment to control and data integrity
Excellent communication skills across global teams
Strong organizational skills with exceptional attention to detail
Professional judgment with ability to drive issues through to resolution
Bachelor's degree required (Finance, Accounting, Economics, or related field preferred)
Preferred
Experience with automation and data tools such as Power BI, Alteryx, and GenAI
Proficiency with data querying tools (PL/SQL, MS SQL)
Experience supporting enterprise security master initiatives or system migrations
Exposure to additional Aladdin modules (Trade Entry, Explore)
