The Business Development Manager will drive sponsorship and exhibition revenue for the upcoming summit, building partnerships and managing relationships within the EV charging ecosystem.

Responsibilities
Generate high-quality leads and build a strong sales pipeline
Conduct consultative sales calls with EV charging solution providers, utilities, fleets, real estate groups, software platforms, and infrastructure partners
Create compelling, value-led proposals and sponsorship packages
Close sponsorship, exhibition, and partnership deals
Develop bespoke partnership opportunities for major accounts
Build long-term relationships across the EV charging ecosystem
Collaborate with the content team to align sponsors with speaking, branding, and thought-leadership opportunities
Provide hands-on account management to maximize partner ROI
Maintain an active LinkedIn presence to grow personal brand and event visibility
Qualification
Required
Proven experience in B2B business development or sponsorship sales
Strong research and prospecting skills
Confident relationship builder with closing ability
Comfortable in fast-growth or launch-phase environments
Excellent written and verbal communication
Experience with consultative, solution-led sales
Preferred
Salesforce and LinkedIn Sales Navigator experience a plus
Knowledge of EV charging, utilities, clean energy, fleet electrification, or infrastructure is a strong advantage (but not essential)
