Senior LevelCHEManager International is seeking a postdoctoral researcher to perform calculations related to planetary companions to Warm Jupiter exoplanets. The role involves using TESS telescope data to conduct a customized survey search for transiting exoplanets and computing the sensitivity and completeness of the survey.

Perform calculations of the occurrence rate of planetary companions to Warm Jupiter exoplanets
Using a customized survey search for transiting exoplanets in TESS telescope data
Computing the sensitivity and completeness of the survey
Qualification
Required
PhD in physics, astronomy or a related field by date of appointment
Preferred
Experience with TESS observations, with searching for transit signals in TESS observations, and with filtering out false positives from planet candidates
