RN Administrative Supervisor (Consultant)

Serenity Home Healthcare Inc. is seeking an RN Administrative Supervisor (Consultant) to oversee the coordination, implementation, and quality assurance of personal care services. This role is crucial for ensuring regulatory compliance, supervising staff, and communicating with state agencies to support clients' health and well-being.

Responsibilities

Ensures all personal care services are delivered in compliance with each participant’s plan of care, Medicaid regulations, and agency policies
Conducts monthly reviews comparing aide service documentation against authorized units, tasks, and frequency to verify accuracy and appropriateness of care
Performs at least one annual on-site evaluation for each personal care aide to assess performance and confirm the adequacy of services being delivered to the participant
Approves any changes to a participant’s care plan based on supervision visits, aide reports, and clinical observations, ensuring documentation is updated accordingly
Makes timely and appropriate recommendations to the Department of Health and Senior Services (DHSS) or its designee regarding service increases, decreases, or terminations
Participates in the orientation and ongoing training of personal care aides, ensuring that all aides are equipped to perform assigned duties safely and effectively
Assigns and oversees designated trainers for supervised on-the-job training, ensuring personal care aides are competent in performing basic personal care tasks
Communicates any significant changes in participant condition to DHSS or its designee, documenting all communication in the participant's case file
Ensures adherence to infection control policies and communicable disease reporting procedures as required by DHSS and OSHA
Maintains complete and up-to-date supervision and evaluation records for all personal care aides, ensuring availability during audits and inspections
Participates in case conferences with DHSS or its designee to coordinate participant care and resolve service-related concerns
Monitors and enforces compliance with agency grievance procedures, participant rights, and confidentiality standards

Required

Must be a Registered Nurse (RN) currently licensed in the State of Missouri in good standing with the Missouri State Board of Nursing
Must have a minimum of 2 years of clinical nursing experience, preferably in home health, personal care, or a related community-based setting
Must be an IHS certified
Must be at least 21 years of age
Must possess strong clinical assessment skills and the ability to supervise non-clinical staff in a community-based care setting
Must have excellent documentation, organizational, and communication skills, with the ability to interact professionally with participants, families, caregivers, and state officials
Must be familiar with Missouri Medicaid regulations, personal care services standards, and electronic visit verification (EVV) systems
Must be able to travel locally for participant and staff visits, with access to reliable transportation
Must pass all background screenings, including checks through the Family Care Safety Registry (FCSR), Employee Disqualification List (EDL), and Office of Inspector General (OIG)
