Senior Creative Strategist (Performance Marketing)
Ogee is committed to creating a certified organic collection of high-performance beauty products. The Senior Creative Strategist will drive performance creative strategy across paid media, focusing on new customer acquisition and collaborating closely with Creative and Paid Media teams to develop a consistent and high-quality creative pipeline.
Responsibilities
Full ownership of the ad creative process, from insight generation through live testing and iteration, with accountability to direct response outcomes
Lead end-to-end creative strategy across Meta, TikTok, YouTube, AppLovin, Pinterest, and Linear / Connected TV, in alignment and collaboration with initiatives set forth by Brand Marketing and Integrated Marketing
Create, test, and refine customer and use case personas, including:
First-time buyers vs repeat purchasers
Psychographic based personas
Channel and format specific personas
Develop and maintain category level creative testing roadmaps for core product categories and hero SKUs, aligned to media priorities and launch calendars
Own ideation, scripting, and storyboarding for high performing formats
Translate performance data into clear creative direction with the Creative department, including:
Hooks, openers, and scroll stopping frameworks
Messaging hierarchy and value proposition clarity
Format, pacing, and length recommendations by platform
Partner closely with Paid Media to align creative strategy with account structure and scaling needs
Rapidly iterate based on real time performance feedback
Support spend ramps, pivots, and launches
Responsible for maintaining a robust creative process & pipeline with the Creative department that outputs high quality, purposeful ad creative
Ensure consistency across hooks, claims, visual language, and brand voice while continuing to push performance boundaries
Work with Brand and Integrated Marketing to ensure brand safety and alignment
Qualification
Required
Senior Manager level experience in a performance creative role, either at a leading performance agency or in-house at a high performing DTC brand
Strong creative judgment grounded in performance data rather than personal taste
Deep understanding of how creative drives conversion across paid social platforms
Highly skilled in scripting, messaging refinement, and delivering precise, actionable feedback
Comfortable managing fast creative cycles with structure, prioritization, and clarity
Strong intuition for platform native content and evolving creative formats
Collaborative, detail oriented, and comfortable working closely with Creative and Paid Media teams
Preferred
Experience in beauty, skincare, or personal care categories
Direct experience partnering with creators, UGC vendors, and production teams
Familiarity with creative testing frameworks, performance dashboards, and post-test analysis
Experience adapting creative strategy to changing platform dynamics and media constraints
