Responsibilities
Act as the primary technical point of contact for customers, owning deployments from scoping through live production
Design, build, and ship end-to-end production systems embedded directly inside customer environments
Reverse-engineer customer APIs, UIs, and data models with limited documentation to design pragmatic, resilient integrations
Partner with a business operations counterpart to manage customer deployments and delivery timelines
Diagnose and resolve failures across AI behaviour, integrations, data pipelines, and system performance
Debug live production systems using logs, metrics, and telemetry, coordinating fixes with internal engineering teams
Improve reliability, performance, and functionality based on real production data and customer feedback
Feed learnings from deployments directly into product, platform, and tooling improvements
Qualification
Required
1-4 years of experience in customer-facing software engineering roles
Experience working directly with external customers or enterprise stakeholders in a technical capacity
Proven experience building, deploying, and operating end-to-end production systems (not just prototypes or demos)
Background in high-growth SaaS or AI-driven environments
Comfortable owning complex technical projects from design through production and ongoing operation
Experience designing and maintaining integrations with third-party systems and APIs
Degree from a top 50 Computer Science programme or equivalent technical background
Strong technical fundamentals across APIs and system integrations
Authentication and security patterns
Data modelling and schema design
Distributed systems and event-driven architectures
Debugging complex production systems and reliability issues
Excellent communication skills with the ability to clearly explain complex technical topics to technical and non-technical stakeholders
High degree of ownership and accountability for customer outcomes
Strong problem-solving ability in ambiguous, fast-moving environments
Comfortable working cross-functionally with product, engineering, and operations teams
